It showcased the work of promoting the inclusive playground that Taipei City Government had done in 2016 and announced the plan for 2017. In 2016, Taipei City Government has set up eight inclusive playgrounds and provided inclusive services at those thirteen parent-child centers in each district. An all- inclusive playground and extra eleven inclusive playgrounds would be built this year. In the meantime, there will be inclusive services as well as prior procurement of inclusive equipment constantly provided at parent-child centers.

2225 households disqualify for low income and shift to social worker visitation. 694 disqualify for middle-low income. 246 people qulify for middle-low income elderly life allowance. 374 people qulify for disabled allowance. All visitation completed on January 25th, 2017.
Total reapplicants for low income household and lower middle household are 281, 12.6% of successful reapplying. Total reapplicants for the life allowance for the middle-income elderly people and the disabled are 49, 7.9% of successful reapplying.

At the end of 2016, three refurbished Parks, Rongxing Park, Chongyan Park and Bihu Park, were also attached with inclusive equipment.

On Oct. 23, we held a Silver-Haired senior services Annual presentation in the urban space of the 8th floor of the Pacific SOGO Department Store (Fuxing Store).
There were hundreds of Silver-Haired seniors gathered to show their talents. They promote the concept of active aging and public service through dynamic performances, static exhibitions and DIY classes activities. More than 500 people were happy to participate in the same day.

There were several activities, inclusive of Baby Crawling Contest, Babe Loaded Footrace Parent-Child Big Ball Rolling Game and Parent-Child Relay Race. At the same time, the mascot, Bravo and TATA, played the role of cheerleaders in the TATA Cup. Taipei Parent-Child Center and Taipei City Parenting Resource Center also arranged Dollhouse, Tongwan District, Wall For Handprint and Scavenger Hunt for kids to play. Every Contestants would get souvenirs. Finally there are 1,652 paternity participated in TATA Cup.

During the event, the former student organizers were invited back home to share their own experience, and they also encouraged the current student organizers to take more challenges and move on.

The main purpose of The Double Hands Program is really different from other normal after school tutoring programs. It’s not only about babysitting the elementary school kid, but also providing a great opportunity for the college students to learn practical working skills of event planning, teamwork and communication from running the program.

On Oct. 23, we held a Silver-Haired senior services Annual presentation in the urban space of the 8th floor of the Pacific SOGO Department Store (Fuxing Store).
There were hundreds of Silver-Haired seniors gathered to show their talents. They promote the concept of active aging and public service through dynamic performances, static exhibitions and DIY classes activities. More than 500 people were happy to participate in the same day.
