According to the Regulations on Handling and Rewarding Reporting Cases, Article 10-1 of the Development of the Cultural and Creative Industries Act (檢舉案件處理及獎勵辦法), the following information must be provided when reporting illegal ticket resale: 

    the platform on which the resale was advertised

and

    tickets details (e.g. date & time, venue, event, seat number)

or

    records of the scalper’s purchase of tickets using false information or improper methods (e.g. ticket-sale app logs)

Report Checklist


1. Reporting resale at a higher price (i.e. selling tickets above face value or set price)

Name of the platform tickets where the tickets were advertised (e.g. second-hand ticket platforms, social media, etc.)

Ticket details (performance, date & time, venue, seating area, seat number, etc.)

Transaction and contact information (e.g. screenshots of correspondence)


2. Reporting improper ticket purchase (using plug-ins, false information or ticket-snatching bots)

Tickets details (performance, date & time, venue, seating area, seat number, etc.)

Records (logs) from the scalper’s ticket-snatching process
