Dec 4 The Department of Personnel organized the swear-in ceremony for the commissioner of the Department of Information Technology. Nov 6 The price negotiations for the annual project” Expanding Functions and Services of the New Version of the Personnel Services Network” were completed. Oct 6 The 2012 Taipei City Government Family Sports Day took place on Saturday October 6 at Taipei Stadium. Oct 2 The Department of Personnel held the swearing-in and handover ceremony for the director of the Shilin District Office and the director of the Nangang District Office. Sep 18 The Department of Personnel held the inauguration ceremony for the Department of Information Technology and the Department of Legal Affairs. Sep 4 The Department of Personnel organized the swear-in ceremony for the heads of the Department of Sports, the Research, Development, and Evaluation Commission, and the Taipei Hakka Affairs Commission. Aug 10 The Department of Sports began operation on August 10, 2012, pursuant to a Taipei City Government Decree approved by Mayor Hau Lung-bin. July 2 The amendment on Article 6 of "Organic Regulations for the Taipei City Government” and “Organizational Chart for the Taipei City Government” passed the third reading by the 11th Taipei City Council at the second meeting of the 8th Temporary Session. June 19 The Department of Personnel organized the swear-in ceremony for the head of Public Works Department of Taipei City Government. May 15 The Department of Personnel organized the swear-in ceremony for Yang Hsi-an as Chairman, Board of Directors, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation. Mar 1 The Department of Personnel organized the swear-in ceremony for Huang Chi-jui as the commissioner of Taipei City‘s Department of Economic Development. Feb 7 Dr. Liu Wei-gong took the helm of the Department of Cultural Affairs of Taipei City Government on February 2, 2012. Liu’s swear-in ceremony was held on February 7, 2012. Jan 20 Mayor Hau Lung-bin bid fare well to the outgoing year to all city employees within the city hall via internal broadcast, and afterwards he delivered his well-wishes in person to those city employees whose offices are located at the fourth or fifth floor of the city hall. Jan 1 The amendment of "Organic Regulations and Organizational Chart for the Department of Personnel of the Taipei City Government" passed the third reading by the 11th Taipei City Council at the first meeting of the 4th Temporary Session. The amendment took effect as of January 1, 2012, according to Taipei City Government Order No.10034716900 (Filename Fu-Fa-San) on January 11, 2012. The abolition of “Organic Regulations and Organizational Chart for the City Employee Welfare Commission under the Department of Personnel of the Taipei City Government” took effect as of January 1, 2012, according to Taipei City Government Order No.10034716900 (Filename Fu-Fa-San) on January 11, 2012.
