Date Major Events January 26, 2015 Official launch of .taipei top-level domain Taipei City Government website (online applications began on 9 September). February 12, 2015 Signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Taipei City Government and Wellington, New Zealand. April 15, 2015 Taipei City Government (Fund) makes full disclosure of 2015 statutory budget on the official website as part of the Government Information Disclosure programme. June 01, 2015 Taipei City Government Secretariat successfully completes trial simplification of official documentation, improving efficiency by streamlining procedures and reducing the use of seals. Ten departments took part in the pilot, with good results, and Taipei City Government document flow and reduced paperwork. July 12, 2015 Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je heads a delegation to Gwangju in South Korea to attend the Universiade closing ceremony between 12 and 16 July. The Universiade flag is handed over and the Taipei World University Games is declared officially begun. The delegation also visits Seoul, Taipei’s sister city, to study municipal constructionuntil 16 July. August 13, 2015 Taipei City Government (Fund) makes complete disclose of the 2014 annual accounts on the government website. August 17, 2015 Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je heads a delegation to Shanghai to attend 2015 Taipei City Forum, ending on 19 August.
