Creating an ecological park for the harmonious coexistence between humans and nature is not a dream anymore!
Taipei Wenshan Community College and Taipei e-Campus have cooperatively invited the ecological expert, Mr. De-hong Chen, to explain the establishment and development of ecological parks to the audiences. Mr. Chen will use Muzha Park as an example to help the participants to understand the importance and methods of preserving wildlife habitats. The speech topic is "The Ecological Vision for the City Park's Future", and will be held on October 31st (Friday) at Jingmei Junior High School.
Muzha Park is a precious green space in Taipei with a lush forest where birds warble and even some fireflies appear recently. Taipei basin is just like a Noah's Ark for wildlife, a unique ecological niche with a lot of rare and scarce biological resources. Unfortunately, city life is so hectic that people rarely have a chance to calm down and enjoy nature's beauty. In addition, the urban green space is facing more and more ecological crisis caused by human beings. Therefore, it is quite urgent for us to make efforts to take good care of wildlife habitats and look after the land, mother of infinite lives!
