Since the implementation of the Environmental Education Law on June 5th, 2011 and to further promote the love of water and water environmental education. Taipei Feitsui Reservoir Administration with its rich natural environment, water resources, Water Resources Eco-education Center, the reservoir, and the surrounding natural and cultural environment, it is to be the ideal location to form the very first “Feitsui Reservoir Environmental Learning Center” approved by government agencies.

Feitsui Reservoir authorities insisted that the reservoir must maintain a healthy water quality; therefore, the number of study visitors will be strictly controlled and any types of water activities will not be allowed. It is the core concept of low-carbon and green energy ecosystem management for the reservoir.
