Taipei Fine Arts Museum(TFAM) under Department of Cultural Affairs, is the second level administration of Taipei City Government. TFAM has one appointed director and one deputy director, and is consists of the following five departments and three offices, including Research Department, Exhibition Department, Collection Department, Education and Public Services Department, Marketing and Public Relations Department, Administrative Services Office, Accounting Office, Personnel Office, Ethics Office. Director& Deputy Director office includes Director, Deputy Director, Guide and Technical Worker, eight people in total.

The Departments’duties of Museum( Number of budget positions people) as below:

 

1. Research Department 
Responsible for fine arts and academic research publication, research on special topics, the Museum and fine arts related data collection and collation, academic forum planning, and enriching and manage books and relevant information and files.
◎The department consists of the fine arts library, provides arts books reading service.
◎Academic research publication, museum development policy formulation, and research on special topics.

 

2. Exhibition Department 
Responsible for domestic and international art exhibitions, exhibition albums publication, Biennale affairs, art contests and application shows, and business exchange with international art institutions.
◎The department consists of a graphic design studio, photographic studio, and exhibition planning team.
◎Domestic contemporary and modern exhibitions planning, and introduction and exchange of international exhibitions.
◎Planning for Taiwan Museum of Taipei Biennale and Venice Biennale, and important international exhibition project plan.

 

3. Collection Department 
Responsible for seeking and collecting fine art works, classification and registration, sorting, mounting and repair and etc.
◎the department consists of works maintenance room and collection warehouse.

4. Education and Public Services Department 
Responsible for art education promotion, international academic exchanges, festivals and weekend night events, and volunteer training, etc.

5. Marketing and Public Relations Department 
Responsible for public relations, press release, media contacts, collaboration and partnership, and media contents, etc.

 

6. Administrative Services Office 
Responsible for paperwork, affairs, cashier, property management, performance evaluation management, mechanical and electrical management, security, and other matters not included in each department’s duties.

Responsible for the conduct of ethics, based on the applicable laws and regulations.
