Taipei Fine Arts Museum

Rewarded by the Ministry of Finance, during the whole year of 2010, the local financial advising projects such as “Public Treasury Management”, “Financial Administration”, and “Public Welfare Lottery Proceeds Operation and Image Promotion” won 1st place; the Department of Finance received 2nd place in “Public Asset Management”, and 6th place in “Debt Management”. Because of these outstanding performances, the former Minister (Mr. Li Shu-De) gave out the awards directly to the Deputy Commissioner of Department of Finance of TCG (Mr. Chen, Hwei-Pin) in the ceremony of the “Local Financial Executive Affiliation 2011 Meeting” (2011-12-21). These also provided them with the honorable opportunity to become representatives as our Commissioner Chiou and the Commissioner Jiang of the Department of Social Welfare (Ms. Jiang,Qi-Wen) to give tribute to the Mayor of Taipei City in the 1664th Municipal Administration Meeting (2012-01-17).

In addition to the great execution of various BOT initiatives, Commissioner Chiou was also invited to introduce how to use the PFI model in the affiliation meeting; he shared the forecasting financial strategies of the municipal development with the other financial directorates/leaders of the local governments, based on successful examples. Acclaimed by the positive feedback from the audients, it would transfer the constructive ideas to the Ministry of Finance for making the two new divisions for the Promotion of Private Participation & Procurement after the reformation of the central government organization.
