Founded on July 9, 1999, the Economic Development Commission, Taipei City Government consists of 42 members selected from the fields of industry, academia, government and research. Taipei City Mayor, is the Convener General of the Commission, assisted by two deputy Chairpersons, including a deputy mayor and one out-sourced expert.
