Established on July 1st, 1983. TVTC serves Taipei citizens with vocational training, skill assessment, and trainee assistance. TVTC positions itself as a functional role for elaborating social responsibilities. It offers demanded vocational training for the non-voluntary unemployed and specific types of unemployed (middle-aged or senior, disadvantaged groups, physically and/or mentally disabled, and etc.), and actively assist them to improve their competitive employment, and to advance the labor supply for economic development.
