The Human Resources Division is responsible for:

A. Reviewing the drafts of new organization structures and staff categories or proposing changes to existing ones submitted by public sector agencies. When reviewing the organization structures of different agencies, this division uses the existing categorized rank list as a basic reference. It also takes into consideration the level of the organization, the nature of its operations and the importance of its responsibilities, when reviewing and determining ranks. This Division is also responsible for additions, cancellations and changes to positions in accordance with related laws and regulations.

B. Reviewing authorization codes as requested by TCG's agencies

C. Handling appointments, dismissals, promotion, demotions, transfers, salaries and performance screening for personnel officers

D. Formulating personnel regulations for TCG personnel officers

E. Collecting City personnel codes that have been created or revised by all sectors of the Department of Personnel

F. Annually reviewing the Contract Employees Employment Program submitted by TCG's agencies

G. Supervising personnel management affairs for technical and maintenance workers

The Appointment Division is responsible for:
A. Assignments for employees who have recently passed new or higher level examinations
B. Appointments, dismissals and transfers for regular civil servants working in Taipei City Government
C. Classifying positions based on related laws and regulations
D. Enforcing the law related to providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities
E. Advocating volunteer services in the public sector
F. Providing summer employment opportunities for Taipei students during summer vacations, and assigning jobs for students hired by TCG

The Evaluation and Training Division is responsible for:
A. Evaluating, awarding or punishing civil servants working in Taipei City Government
B. Training, in-service advanced studies
C. The protection of civil servants' rights and interests
D. Reviewing annual training program submitted by public sectors

The Compensation Division is responsible for:
A. Executing payment management in accordance with related laws and regulations
B. Managing insurance, retirement benefits, death benefits and fringe benefits programs
C. Planning the TCG Physical Exam Program
D. Conducting activities for current or retired City employees
E. Reviewing the mutual assistance application
