Functions and responsibilities
1. Social assistance and healthcare service
(1) Providing living support, emergency relief, and aids in case of major disaster or accidental injury or death.
(2) Planning healthcare services for indigenous people.
2. Welfare services for indigenous children, youths and elderly
(1) Planning and executing service programs for indigenous elderly and distributing cash gifts for the elderly.
(2) Reviewing the application for nursing care and home care subsidy for indigenous elderly.
(3) Reviewing the application for childcare subsidy for indigenous children and providing counseling for indigenous youths.
3. Supporting and upholding the rights of women
