District Division

Taipei City became an independent municipality on July 1, 1967. Taipei City Revenue Service has taken charge of levying all local taxes , including land value tax, land value increment tax, house tax, deed tax, stamp tax, vehicle license tax and amusement tax. 
Taipei City Revenue Service has 12 branches in Taipei providing services to residents. Divided according to the city's administrative districts, these 12 branches are Daan Branch, Songshan Branch, Zhongshan Branch,Zhongzheng Branch, Xinyi Branch, Shilin Branch, Datong Branch, Wanhua Branch, Neihu Branch, Beitou Branch, Wenshan Branch, and Nangang Branch divisions. 
Every branch office has three to four sections, which provides taxpayers with convenient service.
