Taipei Vocational Training Center of Department of Labor, Taipei City Government, held “Ok Work Career Fair” yesterday afternoon for wage earners and freshmen, Although the weather isn't cooperating, the Fair still attracted about 5000 people to attend.
Yesterday, the majority of those who enroll in are interested in businesses with lower technological and investment threshold, for examples, composite dining, local food, light food, snacks, and baking.
There was a thing worthy of note. A group of students, senior and junior, from Automobile, National Lotung Industrial Vocational High School have enrolled in Auto body Repair and Welding Technology class, following their teacher’s recommendations.
Department of Labor indicated that it doesn’t matters if you didn’t visit the Fair, the Department will hold the Career Fair each month in the future, and bulletin the vacancies for vocational training on OKWORK webpage http://www.okwork.gov.tw.
