(4)    Cumulative approved implemented 84 renewal cases and results
 From 1998, when the Autonomous Urban Renewal Act was announced up until July 31, 2009, 84 cases have been approved for implementation with acreage of 27.69 hectares (18 cases have already completed and 30 cases are still in construction). These cases have jointly created a real estate value of NT$232. 207 billion, which is first nationwide, both in terms of quality and quantity. The public benefits of the approved renewal cases including the settlement of 5,044 households (4,078 households from legal structures and 966 households from illegal structures), assist in the opening roads (18,483㎡, equivalent to a road length of 2,447meters), increase number of parking spaces for 15,595 cars and 26,566 motorcycles, reserved 47,294㎡ (length of road: 9,099meters) for pedestrian footpaths and 3,680.85㎡public facilities provided to the community.
