Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government called on citizens to be foster families
The Department of Social Welfare entrusts “World Vision Taiwan” and “Taiwan Fund for Children and Families” to manage foster family service. More than 160 high-quality foster families have been caring for over 200 vulnerable children and teenagers. In order to call on more families in Taipei to become foster families, Dr. Chen Pei-Chi, the wife of Taipei City Mayor, and foster families were invited to exchange their ideas about foster family service at a press conference on December 9, 2015. Dr. Chen Pei-Chi (middle) and the Commissioner of Department of Social Welfare, Hsu Li-Min (right), called on citizens to be foster families.
