Taipei Fine Arts Museum

    2016 International Day of Persons with Disabilities will be held at Taipei Children’s Amusement Park on December 10th. To correspond with the annual slogan “Friendly Capital, Accessible Taipei”, Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government for the first time cooperated with HENG-SHAN Social Welfare Foundation to hold an event “the Renovation project of Living Environment” which followed the example of Japanese well-known TV show “That’s a Dramatic Change!” and selected one of the families, that is living in an old apartment with poor living conditions, lack of accessible facilities, and urgent need of enhancement to take action of renovation. The purpose is to enhance the quality of life of elderly people and people with disabilities, reduce the burden of care, as well as expect public to recognize the importance of improving the accessible living environment.
