The Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government organized a series of activities to celebrate Children’s Day in April 2016
In collaboration with the Taipei Zoo and the Raptor Research Group of Taiwan, the Department of Social Welfare invited disadvantaged children and teenagers as well as their parents to watch the documentary ‘Fly, Kite Fly’ on 2 April. Another event was held on 9 April in collaboration with Carrefour to advocate that tobacco, alcohol and betel nut should not be provided to those under 18. The Commissioner of Department of Social Welfare, Hsu Li-Min (right), attended the event on 9 April to advocate that tobacco, alcohol and betel nut should not be provided to those under 18.
