The Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government, held a press conference to sign cooperation agreements in providing disaster relief goods with convenience store chains on September 21, 2015

    In order to establish an emergency mechanism providing quick and efficient support of relief goods, the Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government, held a press conference ‘National Disaster Prevention Day’ and signed cooperation agreements in providing disaster relief goods with 7-Eleven, Family Mart, Hi-Life and OK mart. This would be a major step forward in Public-Private cooperation of disaster relief.

    At the press conference, the commissioner of Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government, Hsu Li-Min, expressed his gratitude to the four companies for their support and practice in corporate social responsibility (CSR). And the Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government, will take next step in cooperation with logistic companies. Rely on logistics skills and system to enhance the capacity of disaster logistics management.
