The art of calligraphy originated from character writing. The point, line and circle of each brush stroke show the creator’s emotion and quality. Calligraphers developed rich varieties from the brush stroke, momentum and space of characters and could be seen as an expression of a pure impressive painting. As the gap is narrowing between the Eastern and Western arts, calligraphy no doubt remains a unique art that would never fade away. This exhibition invites about 100 calligraphers from domestic and abroad to participate in pursuit of the promotion of modern calligraphy creation research, the improvement of academic exchanges on calligraphy, and at the same time to focus on the rhythm and spirit of its potential to explore the art look of modern calligraphers.
